Viticulture
The grapes for this wine are grown in the Loncomilla Valley, a sub valley of the better known Maule Valley. The soils are sandy loam and the vines are trained using Vertical Shoot Positioning. Harvest takes place towards the middle of April.
Winemaking & Maturation
Once picked the grapes were left on the skins for 3 days,
Tasting Note
Attractive red colour with soft purplish tones. Show a typical cabernet nose with black cherries and ripe dark berries mixed with sweet notes of chocolate and mocha. On the palate is is well balanced and full with a soft velvety texture. Blueberries, cassis and mature blackberry flavours are supported by soft and elegant tannins and a long lingering finish.
