Winemaking & Maturation
All grapes were hand picked and fermented in Stainless Steel Tanks. Maturation in new and second fill French oak barrels blended at 10 months and further matured for 4 months.
Tasting Note
Raigmore is the name of the Finlayson family’s Champion dairy herd they have owned for almost 50 years. The same attention to detail that the family puts into its dairy breeding program is obvious in its winemaking principles and this blend has delivered the intense flavours of mulberry, cassis and summer herb garden intermingled with vanilla spice. The solid tannin backbone and fresh acidity add to the wines potential longevity with a rich mouthful of flavour.
